What is a Master Class?
Fusionkizz is a mix of all Kizomba styles created by Yami.

Urban Kiz is a modern dance style that evolved from traditional Kizomba, a sensual partner dance originating from Angola.

FusionKizz is the main style danced in the world but most of the time it is wrongly called "Urban Kiz".
Urban Kiz incorporates elements of Kizomba but often involves a more urban and contemporary style. Our master class in Urban Kiz dance involves an in-depth and advanced session led by highly skilled and experienced instructors in this specific dance style.
During our Urban Kiz master class, participants can expect:
Advanced Techniques
In-depth instruction on the advanced techniques, nuances, and intricacies of Fusionkizz. This might include specific footwork, body movements, partner connection, musicality, and styling.
Choreography and Combinations
Learning choreographed sequences, combinations, and patterns unique to Fusionkizz. This could involve both solo steps and partner work.
Musical Interpretation
Understanding how to interpret the music, including rhythm, timing, and musicality, which is crucial in Kizomba and Fusionkizz dances.
Partner Connection
Emphasizing the connection between dance partners, focusing on leading and following, communication through movement, and establishing a harmonious partnership on the dance floor.
Personalized Feedback
Often, master classes involve individual or group feedback, allowing participants to receive guidance on their technique and style, enabling them to improve their skills.
Open Q&A and Discussion
An opportunity to ask the instructor questions, clarify doubts, and engage in discussions about the dance style, its history, and evolution.
For Intermediate & Advance Dancers
Our master classes are intended for individuals with a solid foundation in Urban Kiz or Kizomba, as we often delve into more intricate and complex aspects of the dance. Participants are expected to have a basic understanding of the fundamental steps and movements in the style before attending our advanced classes.

Instructor Biography
Yami is a self-taught dancer who draws his influence from “urban and Afro-Caribbean culture”.
Internationally renowned, Yami is known and recognized for his pedagogy, originality, technique and passion for dance.

He was the first French teacher to export Kizomba to the United States in 2010.

The quality and diversity of its courses make it one of the most requested actors on the international Latin-American scene in all continents.
About shows, Yami: "I like to tell stories in my shows and match messages and emotions, create steps and share this as sources of inspiration around the world and social media." He created the choreography and danced for "Stars" of the Afro Latin World, as Don Omar, Daddy Yankee, Jennifer Dias and "the King of Bachata" Romeo Santos ...

During all those years he have been developing the modern Kizomba styles actively and one in specific with the name of "Fusionkizz" which is "the best of Kizomba" mix of all Kizomba styles + extra dancing knowledge and with endless creativity.
