What is a Master Class?
Bachata is a style of music and dance that originated in the Dominican Republic.
The music typically has a romantic, emotional vibe, often about love, heartbreak, or longing. It's usually played with guitar, bass, bongos, and güira (a type of percussion).
The dance is sensual and smooth, with simple steps: a side-to-side basic with a little hip pop on the 4th beat. Over time, different styles like Dominican Bachata, Modern Bachata, Sensual Bachata, and Urban Bachata have developed, each adding its own flavor.
