How to Read the Schedules

Quickly know where you want to go with these tips:

Color-Coded Genres
Each genre has their own color code that matches the logo's colors. Orange is Bachata, Red is Salsa, Green is Zouk, and Violet is Kizomba.
Workshops Are Color-Coded
Sometimes workshops and day dancing are not in genre-specific ballrooms. In that case, look for the class' genre-color across the ballrooms.
Dark Blocks = Practice Space
If there's no class it can be used for practice or privates. No sign-ups necessary. Please share the space with other dancers/groups.

Garage Parking
Hotel garage parking rates differ based on whether you have a hotel room or not.
Please check with the front desk for package rates if you are staying at the hotel.
Please contact the front desk for current rates, or check the rates on the sign outside the garage. If you are staying at the hotel and purchase a parking pass, it includes in/out privileges.

Parking Validation: If you're visiting and not staying overnight, parking validation is available to discount your parking. Please look for the validating machine near the registration desk, normally to the left near the stairs.

$20 (Validated) Garage Parking
- No in and outs
- Valid only if you validate
- Effective up to 24 hours
- $48 if you lose your card
Parking
There are nearby parking lots and the hotel parking garage. At night, parking is available across the street from the hotel in the commercial business lot.
Please adhere to any parking signs you may encounter. We are not responsible for any parking violations you may receive.

Also keep it on the down low. This isn't something the hotel advertises publicly (nor are we) so do everyone a favor and don't post about it, don't write about it, and keep it off public channels.

Obviously exercise caution and common sense. Maybe check on your car often, maybe even move it every so often, maybe just act like you're not supposed to be there but you're trying your chance at it.

Let's keep this known secret between us. Wink.

Don't park in the wrong lot! They'll definitely tow you in that lot! Refer to the map below.
Meet Our Team
It takes a neighborhood to run a four-genre, multi-day dance event.
Master of Ceremonies
MCs are responsible for hosting an event, guiding the audience through the various parts of the program, and ensuring that the event runs smoothly.
Possessing strong public speaking skills, charisma, and the ability to adapt to different audiences and event formats, Alejandro Delatorre and Kris Layug will introduce performers, make announcements, keeping the audience engaged, and sometimes improvise or handle unexpected situations.
Production Team
Each member of the production team plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the performances, from planning and rehearsals to the actual presentation on stage or in front of the audience.
Media Team
The media team plays a crucial role in crafting and disseminating content to reach and engage with target audiences effectively.
Phil, Preston, Carmen, Brittany, Fait, Chris, and Terry are tasked with one of the most challenging aspects of our festival and we appreciate their help.
Floor Manager
Ruth is responsible for coordinating logistics, floor management, and ensuring the smooth flow of attendees, volunteers, and staff.
She oversees the scheduling of security, volunteers, and coordinates with other departments to handle setup, strike, and other attendee needs. Safety and crowd control are paramount, requiring her to manage attendee behavior and respond to emergencies. She serves as a central point of communication between performers, production teams, festival staff, and volunteers, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring staff and volunteers have necessary support. Her role involves problem-solving on the spot and maintaining a cohesive event experience for both artists and attendees.
Meet Your Organizers
Our event organizers handle everything from venue selection and logistics to marketing and attendee management.
These organizers play a crucial role in bringing people together for the festival, providing memorable experiences, and ensuring that the festival meet the expectations of attendees, artists, and staff.
