Joe and Mariah are passionate dancers, teachers, and event organizers with nearly 20 years of combined experience in the dance world. They’ve taught and performed across Europe and the U.S., including at the Kizomba Open Festival in Madrid, Tarraxo School in Paris, and are founders of Tarraxo California.
They bring a rich background in styles like Hip Hop, Urban Kiz, and Fusion, and are certified Tarraxo instructors—in addition to Joe’s 1st place win at Global Tarraxo Paris in the solo category.
Their philosophy is simple: in Tarraxo, lead and follow are equal—each bringing 50/50 energy, creativity, and responsibility to co-create something greater together. Joe and Mariah are dedicated to growing the Tarraxo community in North America and beyond.
