How to Read the Schedules

Quickly know where you want to go with these tips:

Color-Coded Genres
Each genre has their own color code that matches the logo's colors. Orange is Bachata, Red is Salsa, Green is Zouk, and Violet is Kizomba.
Workshops Are Color-Coded
Sometimes workshops and day dancing are not in genre-specific ballrooms. In that case, look for the class' genre-color across the ballrooms.
Dark Blocks = Practice Space
If there's no class it can be used for practice or privates. No sign-ups necessary. Please share the space with other dancers/groups.

Garage Parking
Hotel garage parking rates differ based on whether you have a hotel room or not.
Please check with the front desk for package rates if you are staying at the hotel.
Please contact the front desk for current rates, or check the rates on the sign outside the garage. If you are staying at the hotel and purchase a parking pass, it includes in/out privileges.

Parking Validation: If you're visiting and not staying overnight, parking validation is available to discount your parking. Please look for the validating machine near the registration desk, normally to the left near the stairs.

$20 (Validated) Garage Parking
- No in and outs
- Valid only if you validate
- Effective up to 24 hours
- $48 if you lose your card
Parking
There are nearby parking lots and the hotel parking garage. At night, parking is available across the street from the hotel in the commercial business lot.
Please adhere to any parking signs you may encounter. We are not responsible for any parking violations you may receive.

Also keep it on the down low. This isn't something the hotel advertises publicly (nor are we) so do everyone a favor and don't post about it, don't write about it, and keep it off public channels.

Obviously exercise caution and common sense. Maybe check on your car often, maybe even move it every so often, maybe just act like you're not supposed to be there but you're trying your chance at it.

Let's keep this known secret between us. Wink.

Don't park in the wrong lot! They'll definitely tow you in that lot! Refer to the map below.
Meet Our Team
It takes a neighborhood to run a four-genre, multi-day dance event.
Master of Ceremonies
MCs are responsible for hosting an event, guiding the audience through the various parts of the program, and ensuring that the event runs smoothly.
Possessing strong public speaking skills, charisma, and the ability to adapt to different audiences and event formats, Alejandro Delatorre and Kris Layug will introduce performers, make announcements, keeping the audience engaged, and sometimes improvise or handle unexpected situations.
Production Team
Each member of the production team plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the performances, from planning and rehearsals to the actual presentation on stage or in front of the audience.
Media Team
The media team plays a crucial role in crafting and disseminating content to reach and engage with target audiences effectively.
Floor Manager
Ruth is responsible for coordinating logistics, floor management, and ensuring the smooth flow of attendees, volunteers, and staff.
She oversees the scheduling of security, volunteers, and coordinates with other departments to handle setup, strike, and other attendee needs. Safety and crowd control are paramount, requiring her to manage attendee behavior and respond to emergencies. She serves as a central point of communication between performers, production teams, festival staff, and volunteers, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring staff and volunteers have necessary support. Her role involves problem-solving on the spot and maintaining a cohesive event experience for both artists and attendees.
Meet Your Organizers
Our event organizers handle everything from venue selection and logistics to marketing and attendee management.
These organizers play a crucial role in bringing people together for the festival, providing memorable experiences, and ensuring that the festival meet the expectations of attendees, artists, and staff.

Welcome to the annual San Francisco Hello Bachata Fest, also known as Hello Salsa, Hello Zouk, and Hello Kizomba Fest. On behalf of the festival organizers: Mao, Phuong, Masha, and myself, we want to say thank you for trusting us and choosing Hello Fest as your summer destination.
Year two of any new dance festival is a true test: a moment to see if we have grown stronger or lost our way. While we were humbled by the high praise we received for our organization in our first year, we know there is always room to grow. It's the small details that make the biggest difference and if overlooked, they can quickly snowball into challenges. That’s why we stay vigilant, passionate, and always hungry to do better.

2025 has not been easy for many. Interest rates remain high, the prices of everyday goods and services continue to climb, and uncertainty weighs heavily on all of us. In times like these, it’s natural to tighten the reins on spending.

Yet, it’s precisely in times like these that we need spaces of joy, connection, and escape more than ever. At Hello Fest, keeping our passes affordable has always been one of our core missions. We believe dancing should be accessible to everyone — a vibrant, healing space where you can step away from the daily grind, reconnect with yourself, and celebrate life.

Making this possible isn’t easy. It takes careful strategy, smart budgeting, and a deep commitment to you — our community. We work hard to bring you incredible instructors to inspire and challenge you, while staying mindful to protect the spirit and sustainability of our festival. In many ways, we operate like a non-profit but without the cushion of big financial donors.

That’s why your support means everything. When you choose to attend Hello Fest, you're not just attending an event, you're helping build a community where joy, learning, and human connection thrive. You're making it possible for you and your friends to share unforgettable moments, growing together and learning from some of the best talent in the world.
We have an amazing lineup of activities waiting for you: master classes in FusionKizz and Bachata, a training and certification program for aspiring Bachata instructors, a Zouk Jack and Jill competition, workshops with some of the top instructors in the world, vibrant nightly social dancing, and if the vibe is right some unforgettable room parties!

This is the festival where you’ll find your friends and maybe even meet a few more. We can't wait for you to experience it all.

To those traveling from out of town, whether you're flying or driving in, thank you for making the journey. Your energy and presence mean the world to us.

On behalf of Mao, Phuong, Masha, and myself thank you for believing in Hello Fest.
